Ingredients
- 3 each Acorn Squash Halved and seeded
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup Onions Chopped
- 3 cups Granny Smith Apples Peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
- 1 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded

Instructions
Squash
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place squash onto baking sheet cut side down. Fill the baking sheet with 1/2 inch of water.
- Bake for 40 minutes and drain off any remaining water in the baking sheet.
Apple Stuffing
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the apple and onion in the butter until the onion has turned translucent, 10-15 minutes.
- Set aside in bowl until squash has finished cooking.
- Once the squash is done, mix the raisins , brown sugar, cinnamon, and cheddar cheese into the apple stuffing.
Combination
- Turn the squash cut side up, still on the baking sheet, and fill with the apple stuffing
- Return squash to oven and bake until the filling is hot and the cheese has melted, about 15 minutes.
