Halved and seeded

Peeled, seeded, and chopped

light brown sugar

Instructions
Squash
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place squash onto baking sheet cut side down. Fill the baking sheet with 1/2 inch of water.
Bake for 40 minutes and drain off any remaining water in the baking sheet.
Apple Stuffing
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the apple and onion in the butter until the onion has turned translucent, 10-15 minutes.
Set aside in bowl until squash has finished cooking.
Once the squash is done, mix the raisins , brown sugar, cinnamon, and cheddar cheese into the apple stuffing.
Combination
Turn the squash cut side up, still on the baking sheet, and fill with the apple stuffing
Return squash to oven and bake until the filling is hot and the cheese has melted, about 15 minutes.
